About
There is a dynamic tension between the architectural model and its photograph as modes of representation. The model serves to give a physical idea of a project; it is meant to display the space outside of the 2D confinements of drawings and renders. When photographed, this diversity in perspective and depth is frozen into a single viewpoint, and the model becomes subject to its own scale, presenting as an object rather than a building.
